Puerto Rico's principal airport, Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, located in San Juan, the host city; daily receives 70 non-stop flights from the US. Travelers from major cities from Europe, North and South America such as Madrid, Barcelona, London, Washington D.C., Caracas, Panama City and San Jose can reach Puerto Rico in one (1) hop. Furthermore, most cities from around the world can reach Puerto Rico in two (2) hops.

There are also many non-stop-flights from South America and Europe. New York, Chicago and Miami are the connecting hubs for flights from Europe. Los Angeles is the primary hub connecting flights from Asian countries. US Major airlines from around the world such as American Airlines, ACES, Continental Airlines, Copa, Delta Airlines, Iberia, Northwest Airlines and United Airlines, among others, serve San Juan. Flight time is only 2 hrs and 30 minutes from Miami, 3 hrs and 30 minutes from Washington DC or New York City, 4 hrs and 30 minutes from Chicago or Dallas, and 6hrs and 30 minutes from Los Angeles. Passports are not required for US citizens.
